Jennifer Aniston Sedu Hairstyles
When it comes to the trend of copying celebrity hairstyles, no other celebrity has been emulated more than Jennifer Aniston. From the first time we saw her sexy tresses on Friends, many of us flocked to our local salon with a Jennifer Aniston picture in hand and said, “I want to look like this.”
The key to getting the Jennifer Aniston look lies in first getting an exceptional haircut. While it may look like Jennifer’s cut is simple, it is anything but.
The long layers of this popular hairstyle are condensed at the bottom or the peripheral of the cut and they are heavily textured with the razor. All of this, if done properly, results in the cut magically falling into place. The right cut will leave your hair flipping where it’s supposed to and turning under where it should.
While the right cut can take you a long way toward having the Jennifer Aniston hairstyle of your dreams, you will need a good flat iron to add the finishing touches. The best flat irons are made with solid ceramic plates and use ionic technology to infuse moisture and shine into dull and dingy locks. The most popular of these is the Sedu ceramic flat iron.
To get the Aniston look, you need to part your hair in two sections: the first section will be the nape of the head and the second section will be the rest of the head. To part, make a diagonal slicing from ear to ear running along the occipital bone. Pin the hair above the occipital bone up and away leaving the hair in the nape to hang freely.
Begin straightening the hair in the nape first. Taking 1/2″ sections, straighten the strands from root to end flipping the ends up and out with the flat iron. Once the nape is complete, you can straighten the rest of the hair. You also use 1/2″ sections for this part of the style, but instead of flipping the ends up, you turn them under. When you get to the sections around the face, bring these in toward the face.
Once the hair is all straightened, all you need to do is put the hair into place with your fingers and finish with a light finishing spray. This style should last you 3 to 4 days depending on your activities and how damp and humid the weather is. To keep style looking fresh, touch up every morning with the ceramic flat iron.
